Meet The Top Dog Team!
Teal is far more than a family dog: she’s a highly trained mold detection K9 with an exceptional nose and an unmatched drive to work.
A Deutsch-Drahthaar, a German wire-haired pointing breed known for intelligence, focus, and elite scent-tracking ability, Teal was trained by Bill Whitstine, the pioneer who introduced mold detection dogs to the world (you can learn more about Bill here on his website). Built to find what others can’t, Teal specializes in detecting hidden mold and moisture issues inside homes and businesses. Her advanced scent-detection abilities allow her to pinpoint problem areas quickly and accurately, helping families avoid unnecessary demolition, costly guesswork, and overlooked contamination.
When she’s not working, Teal enjoys keeping up with five kids, patrolling the yard, and staying true to her hardworking hunting-dog instincts. But the moment the vest goes on, her focus shifts completely to the job at hand.
Combining elite training with the relentless work ethic the Deutsch-Drahthaar breed is known for, Teal helps families uncover hidden problems that could be affecting the comfort and health of their home.
Friendly with families. Serious about the mission.

Scott Copeland has spent nearly 30 years working inside homes across Alabama and Georgia, developing deep expertise in HVAC systems, airflow, moisture control, indoor air quality, and building science. Over the years, he discovered that a home’s heating and cooling system does far more than regulate temperature: it directly impacts the air families breathe every single day.
Driven by a passion for healthier homes, Scott became certified in airflow and room balancing, as well as carbon monoxide diagnostics, allowing him to identify hidden issues many homeowners never realize exist. His experience has taken him into attics, crawl spaces, and other overlooked areas where moisture, poor airflow, and hidden contaminants can quietly affect a family’s comfort and health.
But Scott’s mission became personal when his own family experienced ongoing respiratory and air quality issues at home. After countless doctor visits, allergy testing, breathing treatments, and sleepless nights with his family struggling to breathe, he began searching for answers beyond temporary fixes. Discovering and addressing moisture and indoor air quality problems in his own home changed everything.
That experience shaped the way Scott approaches every home today.
By combining decades of HVAC and building science experience with firsthand understanding as a father, Scott is committed to helping families create healthier, safer, and more comfortable living environments. His goal is simple: help homeowners uncover the hidden issues affecting their air and give families peace of mind knowing they can finally breathe easy.
